► ACQUISITION OF FLUOROUS TECHNOLOGIES
(Dec 2013) Boron Specialties has acquired the assets of Fluorous Technologies, Inc., the company that pioneered the use of perfluorinated molecular tags and media for synthesis, purification, enrichment, and immobilization. Production is being restarted in our laboratory and will be available as a separate product line through www.fluorous.com & from distributors.

(Jan 2014) Angelica Andreoli is the 2014 Treasurer of the Pittsburgh section of the American Chemical Society. She is also working to prepare for the ACS Central Regional Meeting (CERM) coming to Pittsburgh on Oct 29 - Nov 1, 2014. Angelica is an analytical chemist at Boron Specialties.

(Jan 2012) Boranes have a number of promising energy applications. At the ARPA-e Summit, we presented our capabilities for production and process development of ammonia borane (for hydrogen storage) and battery electolytes based on polyhedral boranes and carboranes.
